Growing up being inspired by the golden age of movies made by Tim Burton, Disney, James Whale sparked my interest and fascination with how it was created and what was needed behind the screens. I enrolled in Makeup for television and completed that course but it wasn't enough. I wanted to learn more about the work behind the screens and how to make creatures and prosthetic pieces. I went on to further my education and received a higher diploma in art direction. This is where my dreams were able to be actioned and started to become a reality. I knew it was where I belonged. 

 

I worked in the Cape town industry for 4 years working on  Films, TVC, shorts, stills, stock imagery, and private clients. Cape Town inspired, pushed, and made me the artist I am today, and for that, I will be forever grateful. It made me realize that I have a passion for art and people. Love being part of a team and helping create a final project. Makeup artistry has opened so many doors for me and helped develop my passion for prosthetics. 

 

I am now in the UK pursuing my next chapter as a Makeup artist and Prosthetic Trainee for film, I  have been fortunate enough to work on some projects. Looking for the next project.
